Chris Nester has been living and performing in NYC since 2010. Graduating Cum Laude from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, he grew an affinity for both writing and performing in college.
Arriving to NYC, Chris studied improv and sketch comedy at UCB Theatre (advanced study) and began performing at both the Peoples Improv Theater and the Magnet Theater. He was cast in the NYC production of "Point Break Live" and booked small TV and film roles through self-submissions. He also co-founded the Brooklyn Comedy Festival in 2013.
In 2016, he sold his first original series, "America's Best Buds" to Leafly Studios. Now focused on acting, he studies bi-weekly with Anthony Abeson and also at the Matthew Newton Acting Studio.
